گالاکتین-۹
گالاکتین-۹ (انگلیسی: Galectin-9) یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «LGALS9» کُدگذاری میشود.[۴][۵] این پروتئین نخستین بار در سال ۱۹۹۷ در کلیهٔ رویان موش کشف شد.[۶]
اهمیت بالینی
ویرایشبیان گالکتین-۹ در بدخیمیهای خونی مختلف چون لوسمی مزمن لنفاوی،[۷] سندرم میلودیسپلاستیک،[۸] لنفوم هاجکین و غیرهاجکین،[۹] لوسمی حاد مغز استخوان[۱۰] و برخی سرطانهای غیر خونی همچون سرطان ریه،[۱۱] سرطان پستان[۱۲] و کارسینوم هپاتوسلولار[۱۳] مشاهده شدهاست.
گالکتین-۹ همچنین از طریق تعامل با AMPK[۱۴][۱۵] در برخی فرایندهای حیاتی همچون سوختوساز، چاقی، دیابت، سرطان و پاسخهای ایمنی نفش دارد و احتمال دارد بخشی از مکانیسم اثر داروی ضد دیابت متفورمین باشد.[۱۵]
